RSVPs due by noon for shuttle rides to Dr. Pamies’ memorial

Employees and students have until noon today to reserve a spot on shuttles that will run to and from the Joslyn Art Museum for Monday’s memorial service for Rubens Pamies, M.D., vice chancellor for academic affairs and dean of graduate studies.

Shuttles will leave from the south side of the Sorrell Center at 9:30 a.m. and depart Joslyn at 11:30 a.m. to return to campus.

To reserve a seat on the shuttle, register online by noon Friday.

Also, several parking meters along Dodge Street in front of the museum will be bagged with “No Parking” signs so that they can be used by those who attend Monday’s service.

Dr. Pamies died Feb. 26 of an apparent heart attack in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The public memorial service begins Monday at 10 a.m. in the Joslyn Art Museum’s Witherspoon Hall.
