The regents also approved a program statement regarding renovations of the Eppley Institute building, which are slated to start in June and wrap up a year later.

Dr. Britigan, currently the Taylor Professor and chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, will assume the role of College of Medicine Dean on July 1.

Dr. Crouse was appointed to his new post following the untimely death of Rubens Pamies, M.D., last month. Dr. Pamies had held the position for more than eight years.

Dr. Crouse will serve as interim vice chancellor for academic affairs and dean for graduate studies until a national search for a full-time replacement is completed.
