Volunteers needed for Culturefest

Culturefest returns to UNMC on Thursday, April 21 after a very successful first run last year.

Festive footage Check out this video from last year’s Culturefest. Also view photographer David Hussey’s gallery of images from the event. This year’s Culturefest will be held Thursday, April 21 in the Sorrell Center’s Truhlsen Campus Events Center.

The event — which features food and entertainment from several cultures — starts at 11:30 a.m. in the Sorrell Center’s Truhlsen Events Center. It ends at 1:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to students and employees at UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians.

Volunteers are needed to help with:

• Set up from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.;
  
• Serving from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and
  
• Clean up from 1 to 2 p.m.
