Photography lesson included in Wednesday Durham Museum tour

Want a quick photography lesson from a professional photographer? Attend Wednesday’s “behind-the-picture” tour and event at the Durham Museum.

After a tour featuring some of the most renowned photographs in the “Capture the Moment: the Pulitzer Prize Winning Photographs” exhibit, which is currently on display at the museum, attendee will learn some tricks of the photography trade from Robert (Bob) Etzel, a former photographer with the Army Corps of Engineers.

Bring a camera and explore the photographic opportunities within one of Omaha’s best preserved historic buildings.

The tour starts at 6 p.m. and lasts an hour. It will feature a “behind-the-scenes” demonstration of the current digitization initiative in the Durham’s 500,000 image photo archive; the largest photography archive in the city of Omaha.
