Employees to be alerted when vacation balance limits approach

Thanks to user feedback, a vacation leave balance notification process will be implemented in early June that will alert employees by email should they approach or exceed their 280-vacation hour maximum.

picture disc.The message will look like the image on the right and will alert employees to the fact that they will not accrue vacation leave once the 280 hour maximum has been reached.

Accrual rates are provided below:

Monthly employees

  • Years one and two — eight hours a month
  • Year three through five — 12 hours a month
  • Year six on — 16 hours a month

Biweekly employees (hours per month, per day)

  • Years one through five — eight, 0.26301
