Although Firefox 3.6 remains the officially supported version for Firefly, users can now access Employee Self Service (ESS) and MyStaff if they’ve upgraded to Firefox 4.
This support is limited and does not apply to all systems accessed via the Firefly portal.
If you encounter drop-down menus that don’t function as expected, such as when creating a leave request, simply clear the browser’s recent history one time to correct the issue.
To clear recent history in Firefox:
- Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Clear Recent History.” If you don’t see a Tools menu, right-click anywhere on the toolbar and select “Menu Bar.”
- In the “Clear All History” dialog box, select “Everything” from the drop down menu.
- Select “Browsing & Download History” and “Cache.”
- Click “Clear Now” and any drop-down menus in Firefly will now function as expected.
