Spots remain on Wednesday trolley tour

The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC employees and students can still get spots on Wednesday’s trolley tour of the area south of Dodge Street in midtown Omaha.

The Durham Museum trolley tour is for employees and students. Spouses and guests will be accommodated ONLY if space permits.












Partnership information



The tour is offered through the Time Travelers partnership, which provides free museum admission for UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center employees, students, and their immediate family with valid identification, while also offering lectures, workshops and other events on the medical center campus.




When: 5:30 p.m.

What: Many landmarks in the city are here including:

  • The Blackstone Hotel;
  • The Storz Mansion; and
  • The home of Arthur and Zerlina Brandeis.

Visitors will see the beauty of traditional architecture and hear the stories of the people who built these magnificent homes.

Where: The trolley will be outside the Durham Research Center for pick up. Please arrive five minutes early so the trolley can depart promptly at 5:30 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations must be made in advance.
