Campus strategic plan posted online

Detailed and full-color summary versions of the 2011-2014 UNMC Strategic Plan have been posted online.

The plan — which outlines the direction of the medical center the near future — can always be found in the “Quick Links” tab on the top of the UNMC intranet home page.

The 2011-2014 campus strategic plan has been posted online.

“Employees are encouraged to read the plan as it outlines our route to success as a medical center, and effort from all employees will be needed for us to reach our goals as a campus,” said John Adams, Ph.D., special adviser to Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., and associate professor of health services research and administration in the College of Public Health.

The Chancellor’s Council adopted the goals for the strategic plan in May and the detailed plan was completed in June.

Each quarter, Dr. Maurer will review the progress that has been made in the plan’s implementation and each college, institute and major support unit will develop individual strategic plans that parallel the campus plan.
