Speakers are sought present at a series of Science Cafes that will take place at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island in late August.
Speakers are needed for the following one-hour time slots:
- Tuesday, Aug. 30 — 5 and 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 31 — 5 p.m.
The Aug. 30 presentation will be part of the fair’s “Nebraska’s Largest Classroom” promotion, during which teachers and students throughout the state will tour and experience educational displays and exhibit. On Aug. 31, the fair will host its “Older Nebraskans Festival.”
Speakers with interactive presentations and visual aids are strongly encouraged to present at the fair Science Cafes.
