This week, “One Chart” was introduced as the brand name for the electronic health record that is under development at the medical center. One Chart will be used by UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians.
One Chart — which is powered by software from Epic Systems Corporation of Verona, Wis. — will be a comprehensive, integrative health record system that lets all medical center health care professionals work from the same patient record system.
More information about One Chart will be published as its implementation continues. Public roll out of the new system will take place in 2012, officials said.
