The UNMC College of Nursing Northern Division hosted its first Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) Nursing Visit Day in September. Five freshmen — the first class of nursing RHOP students at Wayne State College — spent a day in Norfolk, which included skills lab and simulation introduction and tours at Faith Regional Health Services. After successfully completing their nursing prerequisites at Wayne State, the RHOP students will be admitted to the Northern Division in Fall 2013.
