Kathy Morris, D.N.P., assistant professor in the College of Nursing, will receive the 2012 Emergency Nurses Association Frank L. Cole Nurse Practitioner Award. The award will be presented at the association’s annual convention in San Diego on Sept. 15.

CityMatCH, a national organization of urban maternal child health (MCH) leaders housed within the UNMC Department of Pediatrics, has released the latest edition of CityLights, a quarterly newsletter that regularly features:

Data reports from national urban MCH partners;
Profiles of urban MCH programs;
Regional news; and
Articles from urban MCH program directors and leaders.
