UNMC student enrollment climbs to record high

For the third straight year, student enrollment at UNMC reached an all-time high with 3,124 students enrolled for the 2007-08 school year – an increase of 1.9 percent over last year’s previous record total of 3,067.

Largest NU enrollment in more than a decade

Enrollment at the University of Nebraska increased by 2.7 percent this fall, the third year in a row student numbers have gone up. A total of 47,058 students are attending the university in the 2007-08 school year – the highest total enrollment since 1996 – with significant increases in first-time freshmen and graduate students.

MMI’s Tee-Up for Disabilities Golf Tournament set for Sept. 17

The public is invited to participate in the Tee-Up for Disabilities Golf Tournament Monday, Sept. 17, at Field Club of Omaha, 3615 Woolworth Ave. Proceeds will go toward the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute recreational therapy program for adults with developmental disabilities.
