UNMC business apps to undergo major platform change

The UNMC campus database system for UNMC business applications will undergo a major platform change, and any application that relies upon that data will be offline during the upcoming migration period.

The process will take place starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, and last until 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15.

The affected internal websites – including research administration functions, financial systems and some student applications – will be unavailable during this time, and any third-party application that integrates the data will be impacted, said David Padgett, manager for DevOps with UNMC/Nebraska Medicine Information Technology
