UNO classes to be offered at UNMC this Spring

The following UNO courses will be available at UNMC this spring:

  • ENGL 3000-802: Writing for the Workplace, Mondays from 5 to 7:50 p.m. Bennett Hall, Room 2020. Students in “Writing for the Workplace” will learn to write polished, professional communications that are audience-oriented and professionally readable. The course will stress skills in audience and context analysis, clarity, professional tone, elements of format and pattern, and research and revising techniques. To register requires ENGL 1160 (English Composition II) or equivalent, UNO placement exam overriding ENGL 1160 or permission of the instructor. (Three credits)
  • SPAN 1120-802: Elementary Spanish II, Tuesday and Thursdays, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Bennett Hall, Room 2020. Participants will study pronunciation, listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. Participants must have completed SPAN 1110 with a grade of C- or better, or achieved placement by department diagnostic exam. (Five credits)
  • PSYC 1010-802: Introduction to Psychology, Wednesdays, 5 to 7:50 p.m. Bennett Hall, Room 2020. The course serves as an introductory course fundamental to all subsequent courses in the psychology department. The course satisfies a Social Sciences General Education Requirement at UNO. There are no prerequisites required to register. (Three credits)

You must be enrolled as a student at UNO to register for any of these classes. To apply, go to UNO’s website and click on the “Prospective Student” tab.

Once you have completed the admissions process, you will be given an mavlink account. This is where you will register for classes. The Spring class schedule is currently available on mavlink.
