Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

I help UNMC employees and students who visit Beijing and help to represent UNMC in China. I enjoy introducing visitors to my city. Beijing is a big city and Beijing people are friendly and like foreigners. Everybody can come here.

Leadership is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group act demonstrate leadership at UNMC.

I see leadership in UNMC’s work in China as it makes itself known to potential medical students. We can do something to make more people know UNMC and want to go to school at UNMC.

List three things people may not know about you.

  • I like cats and dogs, but I’ve never had a chance to have a dog. I have an American short-haired cat named “Money.” I got the name after reading “A Dog Named Money.” I hope my cat can give me some good luck.
  • I like swimming. In the summer, my husband and I take our two-year-old daughter, Muxin, to swim at the Water Cube in Olympic Park.
  • I like to play basketball.
