Kevin Kush, Boystown Head Football Coach, ABC World News “Person of the Week” and author, will present “Be a Star!” on Feb. 19 to kick off the UNMC Human Resources Spring Learn@Lunch Series.
When: 11:30 a.m.
Where: Durham Research Center
What: Kush will discuss the attributes needed to be a star at work, such as:
- Having a great attitude;
- Developing a solid work ethic;
- Professional conduct in the workplace;
- Being accountable; and
- Demonstrating leadership.
Kush’s talk kicks off a three-part series of discussions. Each talk will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.
Other sessions:
- March 19 — Robert Prentice, aka “Mr. Attitude”, motivational speaker/trainer, business and management consultant, author and publisher, will present “Attitudes for Leadership.”
- April 17 — Juli Burney, multi-award winning teacher, humorist and author who has appeared on television and radio, will present “Discover the Leader in You!”
Registration: Registration is required and a boxed lunch only will be provided to the first 100 participants who attend the session. To register:
