United Way, Day 18: How we stack up

With only one more day to go in the 2015 United Way campaign, several units still have a chance to join the College of Allied Health Professions with a 100 percent participation rate.

The CAHP last week achieved total participation for the fourth straight year.

But units that are poised to join them with a late push include the Chancellor’s Unit, the College of Public Health and Research.

Let’s see how everyone stacks up as we enter Day 18 of UNMC’s United Way campaign:

  • Business and Finance: 72 percent
  • Chancellor’s Unit: 88 percent
  • College of Medicine: 40 percent
  • College of Nursing: 58 percent
  • College of Pharmacy: 46 percent
  • College of Public Health: 92 percent
  • Eppley Institute: 67 percent
  • Facilities Management and Planning: 39 percent
  • ITS: 46 percent
  • Munroe-Meyer Institute: 49 percent
  • Research: 88 percent
  • College of Allied Health Professions: 100 percent
  • Student Affairs: 71 percent

The running total

As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, UNMC achieved:

  • Donations of $164,217.50, exceeding the campaign goal of $155,000.
  • Employee participation of 49 percent. Remember, using the UNMC eServ website to choose not to donate counts as participation.

Need incentive to pledge in the last two days? On Friday, the final prize drawing will be held. Prizes include a pair of tickets to the Nebraska Cornhusker football game against Northwestern on Oct 24 and a pair of tickets to the game against Iowa on Nov. 27, as well as gift cards to Target. Every donor who gives at least $20 will be entered into the final drawing.
