Upgrade will cause 24-hour outage of major applications

Upgrades to the campus database will require a 24-hour outage of major applications beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. Nearly all faculty, staff and students access the services that will be affected by the outage.

During the downtime, websites affected by the database outage will display a message that the website is down for maintenance.

The following applications will not be available during the downtime:

  • Adverse Events
  • Alumni 
  • Apply
  • BRAIN (Business Resources and Information Network)
  • CARE (Campus Records) – includes GSA Student Elections
  • Cashiering/Accounts Receivable
  • CBA (Campus Business Applications)
  • Clinical Trials Search Site
  • CMS (Comparative Medicine)
  • Core Facilities Management and Scheduling
  • Cost Transfers
  • Effort Reporting
  • Employee Orientation
  • Employee Services
  • IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee)
  • IBC (Institutional Biosafety Committee)
  • IDM (Identity Management)
  • IRB (Institutional Review Board)Direct Payments
  • IRB online protocol submissions and IRB applications.

  • Phone Directory
