Faculty urged to submit proposals for health disparities pilot grant

Vice Chancellor for Research Jennifer Larsen, M.D., has announced the 2019-2020 call for UNMC faculty to apply for the Health Disparities Pilot Grant program. The program supports the Healthy People 2020 Initiative and the shared mission of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine to transform lives to create a healthy future for all.

All UNMC faculty are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to new or expanded teams focused on innovative strategies for reducing health disparities, particularly those identified within our Midwest region that impact the greatest number of people.

Applications are due to Debbie Hawkins in the Vice Chancellor for Research Office by 5 p.m. on Feb. 25. Details regarding the program, including the complete RFA, and application forms may be found on the Vice Chancellor’s Research Resources funding website.
