The IT department is reaching out to colleagues at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine with its annual short survey designed to measure the level of satisfaction for services provided by the IT department.

The survey, which should take less than 10 minutes to complete, is anonymous and will be used to drive performance improvement activities.

Surveys will be emailed, and colleagues also can take the survey here.

“We started the survey a couple of years ago, and it has provided great insights to improvements needed,” said Michael Ash, MD, vice chancellor of information and technology at UNMC and executive vice president and chief transformation officer at Nebraska Medicine. “These are required to ensure that technology is a strategic asset to the enterprise which is critical for us to deliver our mission. From last year’s survey, we have launched a set of new enhancements that will make it easier to access technology anywhere and anytime. We will be launching these over the course of the next several months.”

The new enhancements, Dr. Ash said, highlight the importance of providing feedback to the IT department.

The deadline for completing the survey is June 4.
