Wellness Wednesday – Free tobacco cessation classes for employees

Tom Klingemann, Pharm.D., a pharmacist at The Nebraska Medical Center and tobacco cessation expert, offers free smoking cessation classes for employees that focus on the physical and psychological characteristics of the nicotine addiction.

Did you know?

UNMC’s hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, will go tobacco-free on March 21.

Classes consist of three, 90-minute sessions. The next round of classes is scheduled for Feb. 15, Feb. 22 and March 1 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Wittson Hall, Room 3042.

The session is open to employees and spouses/dependents of UNMC, UNMC-Physicians and The Nebraska Medical Center.
