MMI program helps military families with autistic children

Without early intervention, long-term outcomes for the one in 91 children who have autism remain bleak.

Applied behavior analysis — better known as ABA therapy — is a common and effective treatment method for those with autism. But there are not enough practitioners to meet the need.

This is especially true for military families stationed overseas in countries where opportunities for early diagnosis and treatment aren’t knocking.
