New e-procurement technology headed to campus

The University of Nebraska recently kicked off a 32-week implementation process for eShop.

The new program will support UNMC’s vital mission by creating a strategic and transformational shopping environment.

Streamlined purchasing

The eShop program will support efficiencies and savings for departments and provide:

  • A faster, easier and more effective purchasing experience;
  • Simplified tracking of purchases to see how unit money is spent; and
  • A paperless and more environmentally friendly means of purchasing.

The program rolls out to the campus in April.

Implementation Updates for eShop

Regular weekly meetings called the eShop Forum will be held for those interested in implementation updates.

Meeting agendas and minutes can be found online at the eShop Forum website.

The eShop Forum will be held in the Maurer Center for Public Health, Room 2001, on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. except for the first Wednesday of the month, when the meeting starts at noon. All are welcome to attend.
