If you happen to be out at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island, stop by the UNMC booth in the Bosselman Conference Center.
UNMC will be at the fair on Aug. 30-31 as experts from the medical center will be available to discuss various health topics.
Blood pressure checks and skin cancer screenings also will be held and children will enjoy hands-on demonstrations, puppet shows and costumed characters focused on:
- Poison control and prevention;
- The inner workings of the human body; and
- Awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities.
