Below Dr. Lewis talks a bit about his experience at the Eppley Institute.

“When I arrived on campus, I initially studied the molecular mechanisms involved in insulin action. Later my research evolved and I investigated mechanisms involved in cell fate in cancer cells and most recently my work focus has turned to the role of energy expenditure in cancer cells.

“The Eppley Institute has patiently given me the resources and time to explore the interesting science that has been a part of and arisen because of our work.

“It’s been a superb environment with great space to work and lots of bright young people with which to work. It’s a great place.”
