The UNMC Campus Database and associated applications will be unavailable starting at approximately 10 p.m. today.
Down time is needed to move the databases to new hardware and to upgrade the database software. The outage is expected to last five to six hours with services restored Saturday morning.
Applications affected include:
- Campus Directory
- Clinical Trials Search Site
- ADIS (Academic Department Information System)
- CARE (Campus Records)
- egrants (RAMS – Web based application to submit grant applications)
- ESS and ESERV (Employee Services Web Applications)
- ITSMOS (Help Desk System)
- RSS and RISC (Research Support Web Applications)
- MGMT (Management Services Web Applications)
- All Web Services using the Campus Database (includes eCommerce gateway functions)
- All secondary applications for students applying through national application services
- CMS — Course Management System for Continuing Education
- RA — Research Administration
- Brain — Business Resources and Information Network
- CBA — Campus Business Applications
- TBS — Telecommunications Billing System
