United Way 2011 – The 3:33 report, Day 1

As of 3:33 p.m. on Monday, the first day of UNMC’s 2011 United Way fund drive, $51,109 had been raised and participation was at 10 percent.

Not a bad start. Seems we are well on our way toward our monetary goal of $145,000.

Another goal in this year’s campaign is to raise participation. In the past few years, UNMC has averaged just 33 percent participation in the drive. In light of the fact that the goal each of those years was 100 percent, well, let’s just say it left something to be desired.
