Have you just had a baby or gotten married?
If so, be sure to let the UNMC Benefits Office know within 31 days of the change so appropriate changes can be made to your benefits.
The benefits office must receive a “change of status” form within 31 days of the change to meet the IRS requirements.
To see a list of major life events that are considered a change in status:
- Visit http://nebraska./benefits; and
- At the far right-hand column under “Other Benefits Information,” click on “Life Events.”
