Ballyhoo and other pieces by Freda Spaulding are on display on the third floor of the Sorrell Center.
A new collection on loan from the Museum of Nebraska Art can be seen on the third floor of the Sorrell Center.

The exhibit features Freda Spaulding.

Born in Lincoln in 1893, Spaulding graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1915.

After training at the Parsons School of Design in New York and teaching in Minnesota, Spaulding joined the faculty at UNL in 1942.

Spaulding painted in oil and watercolor, yet her outstanding achievements were in the areas of graphics and printmaking.
