Spirit Week 2011 – Cinnamon rolls in the morning, Science Cafe at night

Come to work hungry Tuesday morning and then head over to the Sorrell Center or the Durham Research Center common areas to get coffee and free cinnamon rolls to kick-off UNMC’s Spirit Week Activities.

Head over to the Sorrell Center or the Durham Research Center common areas to get free cinnamon rolls and coffee on Tuesday morning.

The goodies will be available from 7 to 9 a.m. and you also can pick up a free UNMC window cling to put on your car for Thursday’s “Stick It To Win It” contest.

On Tuesday evening, head downtown to the Slowdown to hear Andrew Jameton, Ph.D., a professor in the department of health promotion, social and behavioral health in the College of Public Health, discuss climate change.

The Science Cafe gets underway at 7 p.m. Free pizza will be served to the first 50 in attendance thanks to the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.
