Stop by the Sorrell Center or the Durham Research Center common areas to get free cinnamon rolls and coffee this morning.
Make sure to grab a UNMC window cling, too, and then slap it on your car window to be eligible to win prizes during Thursday’s “Stick It To Win It!” contest.

Then this evening, trek downtown to the Slowdown to hear Andrew Jameton, Ph.D., a professor in the department of health promotion, social and behavioral health in the College of Public Health, discuss climate change.

Oh … um … that’s an interesting sweater.

Got an ugly sweater? Break it out for Wednesday’s Spirit Week Ugly Sweater Contest.

During the contest — which is at noon at the Scott Student Plaza Ice Rink — five ugly sweater wearers will be randomly selected to win prizes.

The contest corresponds with a free skating session for employees that will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Employees get free admission to the rink and can rent skates for $3.

Qdoba will be in the Sorrell Center commons areas so students can buy lunch. (See a menu.) Free hot cocoa also will be available and the UNMC Bookstore will set up shop in the Sorrell Center commons area to sell UNMC gear.
