Countdown to Outlook – Part 1

We only have six weeks left until the March 6 “Go Live” date for the campus switch to the Microsoft Outlook email system.

In preparation for the transition, Information Technology Services will hold a series of training session to help users prepare for the switch to Outlook.

Classes today and Wednesday

Among these sessions include a class today at 8:30 a.m. in the Sorrell Center, Room 2018 and on Feb. 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the Durham Research Center, Room 1004, to help users learn to synch their address books and other clean up tips.

No registration is required for these courses. Attendance is determined on a first come, first served basis. These sessions will be recorded and available to view later at the ITS website.

Drop-in sessions

Employees also can also get information at the following drop-in sessions:

  • Feb. 7 at 1 p.m.;
  • Feb. 14 at 1 p.m.;
  • Feb. 21 at 1 p.m.; and
  • Feb. 28 at 11 a.m.

All the drop-in sessions will be held in Wittson Hall, Room 8011. No registration is required for these courses. Attendance is determined on a first come, first served basis.
