With gas prices rapidly approaching $4 a gallon, will your transportation habits be altered? UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center are interested in knowing faculty, staff and students’ thoughts regarding transportation.

Verdis Group, a consulting firm contracted to assist us in sustainability issues on campus, has created a brief survey they would like all employees and students to complete.

The survey:

  • Opens today and runs through March 21;
  • Takes no more than 10 minutes to complete; and
  • Focuses on the mode of transportation faculty, staff and students take to work and how they make those decisions.

The goal of the survey is to set a baseline that can be compared to future surveys and to gather information to assist campus leadership in developing strategies to ease parking issues. The survey asks for your department name, but all respondents will remain anonymous.

Verdis will provide a $25 gift certificate to Blue Planet to one person who takes the survey. See details at the end of the survey on how to participate.
