‘A Day in the Life at UNMC’ blog launches today

A blog that will document UNMC stories and happenings in the first-person launches today. Read the introductory post.

PR’s Nicole Lindquist has launched a new blog that gives readers a fun and inside look at life at the medical center. Lindquist and other campus writers will regularly contribute to the blog.

Nicole Lindquist, a writer in the in public relations department, will update the blog on a weekly basis. She hopes to feature guest posts along the way.

“I’m starting this blog so I, along with others, can share our experiences at UNMC with the campus from our personal points of view,” she said. “I want it to be fun to read, yet educational too.”

She plans to share stories about her experience with the Faculty Employee Assistance Program, the time she met Warren Buffett because of the tuition assistance program at UNMC, going extremely green and any and everything else that makes UNMC such a great place to work and go to school.

The blog will be hosted on WordPress at blog.unmc.edu.
