The Science Cafe is a free educational event sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase science literacy among young adults.
The series continues Tuesday evening at the Slowdown in Omaha as ecologist Chris Helzer discusses the history of prairies in Nebraska, the creatures that live there and the ecology and management of the state’s prairies.
The event starts at 7 p.m. Free pizza, available for the first 50 people, will be provided by Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.
