Congratulations to Oveys Mansuri, M.D., associate professor of surgery, who won a $10 gift card to Crave for being the first person to correctly respond to Friday’s Science Cafe quiz.

The Science Cafe series continues this evening at the Slowdown in Omaha as ecologist Chris Helzer discusses the history of prairies in Nebraska, the creatures that live there and the ecology and management of the state’s prairies.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Free pizza, available for the first 50 people, will be provided by Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.
