As of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the second day of UNMC’s 2012 United Way fund drive, $55,187 had been raised and participation was at 14 percent.
Remember that you need to participate by Friday to be eligible for that day’s prize drawing. Prizes include:
- Gift cards to several local businesses; and
- Tickets to Nebraska football games.

All you need to do is:
- Open the email you received on Monday from United Way;
- Click the link in the e-mail, enter the password provided in the email; and then
- Participate!
Remember, participation doesn’t equate to donation. Obviously it’s preferable that we all give to the campaign, it also is understood that it’s not always possible for everyone to give.
So even if you can’t donate, log in and note that you choose not to donate. That counts as participation and makes you eligible to win prizes in the weekly drawings.
