Bilingual speakers needed to help train medical students

If you speak a language other than English, your help is needed at a pair of sessions to train medical students to use interpreters.

If you have a friend or relative who speaks the same language, we need both of you (one of you must be fluent in English).

This exercises run from noon to 4:30 p.m. in the Sorrell Center on:

  • Monday, Oct. 22; and
  • Monday, Oct. 29.

A script will be provided and you or your partner would act as an interpreter for the medical students as they interview those who pretend to be the patients. A small stipend will be provided.
