Music

Students, faculty and staff membersat UNMC and Nebraska Medicine have opportunities to be involved in music through our Nebraska Medical Choir and Nebraska Medical Orchestra.

These opportunities are supported by faculty from the School of Music at University of Nebraska at Omaha.

The Nebraska Medical Orchestra is a volunteer orchestra under the direction of Dr. Matthew Brooks, open to all healthcare-related musicians.

The Nebraska Medical Orchestra & Choir perform their spring concert featuring the public premiere of the official UNMC Fight Song. Join NMC director Dr. Kati Cox, NMO director Dr. Matthew Brooks, faculty violin soloist Dr. Mary Perkinson, and the students, staff, and faculty of the ensembles for the final performance of the academic year.

The concert is open to the public with free, adjacent parking.
