Music & Medicine

The primary mission of Music & Medicine is to provide a musical outlet and community for students, faculty, and staff at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine as a means of improving wellness. However, Music & Medicine also enhances campus morale through live music performance and contributes to the environment of care for patients and their caretakers.

Music & Medicine brings together our health care expertise with the musical expertise of faculty from the School of Music at University of Nebraska at Omaha.

The Nebraska Medical Orchestra is a volunteer orchestra under the direction of Dr. Matthew Brooks, open to all healthcare-related musicians.
