Writing and Career Workshops

The Office of Postdoctoral Education holds regular workshops to help grad students and postdoctoral scholars build skills that can be used inside and outside of the lab. Key topics include grant writing, writing for publication, public speaking, careers for biomedical professionals and more.

Interprofessional Education (IPE) Day

UNMC holds a campus-wide IPE Day twice a year, with a goal of combining traditional health care students with disease-research focused students. By expanding this scope of cross-disciplinary interaction, we hope to enable collaboration and, ultimately, improve health care outcomes.
