Information Technology Services’ Kim Laursen will present a session on using these and other guidelines and tips to punch up a PowerPoint presentation. The session will run from 9 to 10 a.m. on Aug. 7 in 3034 Wittson Hall.

Laursen will provide suggestions on making presentations more compelling and effective.

No registration is required for the session, which will be recorded and available from the ITS website after the presentation.

Other ITS demonstrations and presentations in the Wittson Amphitheater in August include:

  • 11 a.m. to noon, Aug. 13 — Outlook Email Management.
  • 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Aug. 27 — Excel Data Tools.

Registration is not required for these sessions, and they will be recorded.

ITS hands-on basics classes for Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word are also being given in August and more details can be found at the ITS training website. Registration is required for hands-on classes.
