The University of Nebraska Medical Center will recognize seven faculty members for their meritorious teaching and mentoring of students and faculty at the Annual Faculty Awards ceremony on April 20 at 4 p.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.

As part of the event, UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., will present his state-of-the-campus address. This year’s presentation is titled, "To Dare Mighty Things.” He also will recognize Ann Anderson Berry, M.D., Ph.D., who received the Innovation, Development and Engagement Award (IDEA) Award, one of the University of Nebraska’s most prestigious awards for teaching, research and engagement.

Dr. Anderson Berry is associate professor in the division of newborn medicine and medical director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Nebraska Medicine. For nearly 15 years, she has dedicated her career to serving families in communities across Nebraska. She will be recognized in a ceremony in Lincoln in May.
