Wellness Wednesday – Next round of tobacco-cessation courses set

Tobacco cessation courses are offered to employees free.

The next session of smoking cessation classes, which are offered free to employees, will be held Aug. 16, 23 and 30 (all Tuesdays) from 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the Durham Outpatient Center, Room 2628.

Attendees are welcome to bring lunch.

Attendance at all three sessions gives attendees strategies, tips and support to quit tobacco.

The sessions are led by Tom Klingemann, Pharm.D., a smoking cessation specialist with the Clinic Pharmacy at UNMC’s hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center.
