Weekly e-Tip – No. 2

ITS will provide weekly e-Tips to help employees prepare for the new Outlook email system.

Initially, e-Tips will focus on clean-up and prioritizing essential email employees need to keep and as the conversion gets closer, tips will focus on using Outlook.

This week’s e-Tip — Sort mail for quickly prioritizing your Notes mail

You can start to prioritize your Lotus Notes mail by quickly clearing out messages you no longer need by sorting on column headings in your inbox or other folders.

Clicking on Name, Date, Size or Subject headings will group messages together so that you can more easily select messages to delete.

Use the “Shift” key to select several messages together or the “Ctrl” key to select random messages and then press the “Delete” key on the keyboard.
