The first event — a “Household Electronics Recycling and Household Confidential Paper Shredding Event” — runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the west parking lot of The Recovery Room Bar & Grill at 4016 Leavenworth St.

Bring your old household electronic equipment and any old confidential papers you wish to shred to campus and drop them off. The electronic items and paper will be ecologically recycled. There is a small fee associated with each electronic item. See more online.

Keep UNMC beautiful

Friday at noon, the UNMC LINK-sponsored campus clean-up gets underway in the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza.

To participate in the clean up, RSVP to unmclink@unmc.edu. Lunches will be provided to the first 25 people who register.
