Program Overview
The Scott Scholars Program empowers medical students to become innovative problem-solvers in healthcare by applying a human-centered design methodology. Through immersive experiences such as Design Sprints, community-based projects, and global immersion and research opportunities, students learn to empathize deeply with patients and stakeholders, identify unmet needs, and co-create impactful solutions. This curriculum fosters a mindset of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement, essential qualities for addressing the complex challenges of modern healthcare systems.
