Education Council

Consisting of senior education leaders, the Education Council offers insights and guidance on academic-related activities and issues.

The Education Council provides Academic Affairs with proposed goals for inclusion in the UNMC strategic plan and is the primary driver in the development of educational strategy, operations, and coordination within all UNMC units.

The Education Council will also provide recommendations and position statements to the Chancellor and the Chancellor’s Council of Deans and Directors, as appropriate and is the primary vehicle for the development, review, approval, and monitoring of UNMC policies that directly impact individuals seeking admission to or matriculating at UNMC.
