Acknowledging the Core

Acknowledging use of the Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Core Facility in your publications is a critical and important metric value to us and our University. It helps our scientists grow and seek funding, so that we can perform essential services in the best possible way. 

ACKOWLEDGING THE CORE

If we contributed to any of the following: design of the project and experiments, critical input, acquisition of data, analysis and interpretation of spectra, writing a portion of the manuscript, or intellectual contribution, please do include all of our Core members participating as CO-AUTHORS.

If we contributed to collection of data, writing assistance, material support, or scientific advice, please do include our Core in the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SECTION.

All manuscripts, presentations and grants that include data generated by the Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Core Facility should include the following acknowledgement: 

'The University of Nebraska Medical Center Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Core Facility is administrated through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and supported by state funds from the Nebraska Research Initiative (NRI)'
