UNMC Student Housing in Omaha
The University of Nebraska Medical Center owns a residence hall and a variety of rental property units in Omaha which are leased to full-time students, post-docs, residents and fellows of the Medical Center.
All rentals are located on the UNMC campus, within walking distance to all UNMC colleges. Properties consist of studio, one- and two-bedroom units, depending on the building. Maintenance and campus security are available 24 hours a day.
UNMC Residence Hall at 3800 Dewey
UNMC students interested in learning more about or leasing space in UNMC’s new residence facility, scheduled to open in August 2026, are encouraged to sign up for informational updates.
The new apartments, located on the east edge of UNMC’s Omaha campus, offer modern studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans, a controlled access entry, grab-and-go dining options, collaborative study and meeting spaces, an outdoor patio and lounge area, bike storage and 24/7 campus security patrol, among other amenities.
The residence hall is professionally managed by Burlington Capital Properties.

Parking is not included with the residence hall lease. Students must purchase a parking permit through Parking Services.
One- & Two-Bedroom Rentals
UNMC owns several rental property units located on S. 38th Ave, 40th St. or 41st St. Parking is provided with these units. Leases are based on the academic year.

Student Housing at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO)
UNMC students interested in applying for housing at UNO should submit a request for availability. Students who have specific housing questions should email unohousing@unomaha.edu.
